CONGRATULATIONS TO TWO STUDENTS SIGNING CONTRACTS WITH YORK UNIVERSITY

Congratulations to St. Elizabeth CHS graduates Olivia DeCiantis and Alisa Trubyuk for signing contracts with the York University Lions ice hockey and volleyball teams respectively.  This year, DeCiantis played a major role on the St. Elizabeth varsity boys hockey team, while Trubyuk was recently named varsity girls volleyball team MVP.  Alisa was an assistant coach for the varsity boys volleyball team ... COVID19 SCHOOL CLOSURE UNTIL END OF SCHOOL YEAR

Education Minister Stephen Lecce announced that all publicly-funded schools will remain closed until the end of the school year. This extension was based on expert advice from the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health and health officials on the COVID-19 Command Table, and is part of the government’s ongoing effort to stop the spread of the virus.
