SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
The Special Education Department offers a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of students who have been identified as “Exceptional” by an Identification, Placement and Review Committee (I.P.R.C.) or by an SE-5 form. These services are set up to function in a consultative, diagnostic and supportive manner for students, teachers and parents.
We offer the following programs: Learning Strategies, Core Resource Monitoring, Functional Life Skills, Educational Support, Social Communication Program, Tutorial and Personal Life Management Cooperative Education. Other services that can be accessed include Psychological Assessment, Educational Assessments, Program Consultation, Speech and Language and Behaviour Management.
