Dear Students of St. Elizabeth,

St. Elizabeth Catholic High School is a Catholic school community where administrators, parents, teachers, board, parish, and community members come together to create opportunities for students to excel and fulfill their God given potential in a safe and caring environment.  Whether you are a new or returning student, we welcome you to the 2009-2010 academic year in the same way that our patron saint, St. Elizabeth, welcomed our Blessed Mother.

St. Elizabeth was an example of hospitality, compassion, and inclusiveness.  From her we are given a profound understanding of the presence of Holiness.  Take the challenge to find the presence of God in yourself and others.   Meet and exceed the high expectations the school community has for your personal and academic growth.  Embrace the opportunities that are put in place to support your growth and learning.

Promise yourself to give nothing less than your best effort in your academic and extra-curricular activities this year.  Become an ambassador of St. Elizabeth Catholic High School to the community by committing yourself to the school’s expectations and to the principles of the Catholic Graduate Expectations.  Demonstrate the courage of a young adult formed in the Catholic faith tradition.  Be prepared to face the challenges of the twenty-first century filled with hope, conviction, and spirit.  Believe in yourself and know that we believe in you too.

We encourage all students to embrace these principles and to commit themselves to doing their part to create a climate which promotes success, engagement, respect and passion for learning and innovation.  The very qualities embodied by the staff at St. Elizabeth Catholic High School.

May your year be a blessed one.
